Pineapple Play is a young but confidently built studio out of Brisbane, Australia, founded in 2024 by co-founder Cameron Fraser, who brought two decades of casino and iGaming leadership experience into the venture. It made its first real mark by joining Hacksaw Gaming’s roster of partner studios in December 2025, distributing its games through Hacksaw’s OpenRGS platform alongside a growing group of independent developers.
True to its name, the studio’s debut title, Coconut Chaos, leaned into bright, tropical, beach-inspired visuals, and its follow-up, Midnight Mirage, suggests a range broader than one holiday postcard aesthetic. Early reviews have described the output as light, charming, and quietly strategic, a fair summary of a studio still building out its identity one release at a time.
